David McMaster is both an experienced language teacher and a broadly experienced business person with bilingual financial industry work experience in account management, sales, client services, marketing and training. Other than finance, David has worked in hospitality, law, retail, logistics, television and education.
With this experience, David is uniquely able to conduct practical and detailed question and answer sessions with his students in various industries.
Besides Canada, David has lived and worked in Europe, Asia, South America and in 4 Canadian regions in 2 languages. He has come to understand clearly that business cultures around the globe differ in sometimes small yet significant ways.
With this experience, David is able to translate not just business terminology, but also translate business norms, customs and cultures.
Most importantly, just like his students, David perfected his second language as an adult. With that hard-earned ability he became a bilingual sales VP for investment firms such as Franklin Templeton Investments where he achieved top sales results in 2 languages.
David knows exactly what his students are trying to achieve in their professional lives. From this experience he is able to offer his clients useful practical advice, efficiencies and short-cuts.
